I remember Skkorp from the Cards Corner days as well, and when I found ASFN and registered he was the first guy to welcome me. RIP.

I have no idea how I found this site, but after living in AZ and getting addicted to the Cardinals, even when they sucked, I loved finding this this site run by a guy named Skkorp. Took me 3 years to figure out he was in a wheel chair and I loved the rules of respect he enforced.

    God bless the man.

I just came across this news on the Phoenix Suns forum. My heart goes out to Jim's family. I'm paralyzed like Jim was, and I was fortunate enough to meet him online on the old Rivals messageboard only a year or two after my injury. He was one of the first old-school quads I met, and he gave me invaluable advice and support that truly made a difference in my life. He even sent me fantastic tickets, parking passes, etc. to multiple Cardinals games. Without Jim and ASFN my life would be quite different. I owe a lot to him.

    Thanks Jim.

    RIP

I too remember Jim from the "Cards Corner" days. I am very saddened to hear about his passing. Hopefully Jim can now pull some strings from above and help the Cardinals win the Superbowl- he will be truly missed.

    RIP Jim.

And thank you for creating such a great online community. I have been a lurker and then a poster for a long time, and gotten a great deal of insight and happiness from what you helped create.

Thank you for that, very sincerely.

Many condolences to Jim's family and friends.

Jim had to have been extremely active on this site. I do not call myself an everyday poster. However, Jim messaged me and answered some of my posts. I'm sure he did the same for just about everyone else here. Also, he had great and detailed postings about the Cards. He'll be solely missed by myself. RIP Jim.
