Just got on this site, as I just got internet access after the move...this was just not a post that I wanted to see...

I discovered this board while I was starting high school. I was just becoming a big cards fan at that time. Thank you Skkorp.

    RIP

Wow. This is very sad news. Jim was able to unite hundreds of Cardinals fans on this website and his legacy will be the continuation of this site. I'm glad that he got to see the Cardinals make the Superbowl one time before he passed.

    RIP

You gathered us together, made us family. Some folks go through life never getting the chance to have such impact. My heart hurts for your other family, the loss of a loved one is so painful a weight to carry. Enjoy the clearing friend, you have earned the rest.

I have looked at that picture on page 2 a dozen times since this all started. That picture is the symmetry of all of us. There is Jim in the middle and the rest of us huddled around him.

That playoff game...that moment...was my last time laughing with Jim. I have misted up a couple times looking at it.

I toast to you Jim. You touched more people then you will ever know.

What a good guy with a great heart. I remember having long conversations with him about the Cards in the 90's before I moved and then seeing him in the Philly playoff game before the superbowl. He will be missed !

    Rest in peace...

I remember when these boards transitioned from the old AZProSports board, and I made the transition. Skkorp's efforts genuinely amazed me, not only as someone who understands what it can take to run an online community like this, but as a Cardinals fan. He gave us all a place to unite.

He will be in my thoughts, and I'll cheer that much more during game time in honor of him.

I never had the pleasure to met Jim. Never the less I am so sorry to here about his faith.

But on the bright side, he has managed to do something, that will keep his legacy alive at any time. He managed to unite a lot of Cardinals fans, and he managed to give them a home even though we are spread all around the world.
To me, Jim is a true legend.

    Go with peace.

RIP Jim. Thanks for letting this central Illinois fan feel a part of the Cardinal family 2000 miles away from the action. You will be missed.

Never been, when reading all the loving, careing but also saddening reactions, i guess the right word is fortunate or maybe even blessed, to have met Skkorpion or even have a nice conversation with him, as a relatively new poster on this board who just hops in every now and then.

But i gotta say, on the world wide web, usually a gigantic place of anonimity and shallowness, it's so heartwarming to see such connectedness and solidarity on this tiny little part of it.

Thank you Jim, for creating your legacy.

    Rust in vrede.
