I never met him, but I'll bet he bled Cardinal red. Peace and prayers to his family.

Many of us Cardinals' fans are reaching this age and time. Though I have not met you all personally, I feel I know you. Life is short, enjoy it while you can.

Still pretty shocked about this.. O was my boy.. Feels weird he isn't around anymore.. We used to get so drunk and talk **** to each other all the time.. Recently though, we didn't get in touch as much..

Last time I saw him was in July at a Cards Training Camp practice.. We talked about how Ellington looked like the best of the bunch at RB.. I bugged him the whole day about who was number so and so.. He got upset and said don't you have a phone? Once he did that, I kept bugging him even more for who what number a player was.. I told him hey man you have the screen open, why should I open it too? After awhile he was just laughing.. I annoyed him, but he didn't care.. He was laughing..

A lot of good times, and some times not so good life we dealt with.. He always stayed true..

I can just imagine him on his porch with his dog watching the world go by.. Just like every time I pulled up to his house, and every time I pulled away from his house.. Waiting for the damn city to irrigate his front lawn haha..

A lot of stories he told me will stay with me forever, and made me a better man..

Thank you Bill O'neil.. My friend

THATS SOME GOOD STUFF RIGHT THERE.

Bill was just a genuine human being. I enjoyed the hours I spent with him. Whether it was at the irish pub, his home or going to a game together. He was always the same guy all the time. We laughed a lot and we bonded. Im thankful for the memories I was able to share with him. While not in great in abundance there was enough that I will never forget him.

OMG!! Chris, I'm speechless man. Jeez. I will drink a toast to him before the game tomorrow. And I will have all of my friends do the same. O was a good dude. His family and close friends are in my prayers.
