Bob was an incredible guy. We opened up the new stadium together. His seats were right behind mine.

He was an awesome Admin. When the Keebali took over the site, he did so much to help me keep the site running. It was an almost daily issue for over a year.

He was one of the good guys in the world.

    I'll miss you, bro.

    RIP jw7, GBR, and woof!

RIP Bob. He was a good guy! He lived in my area and rode the party bus to the games with us once in awhile.

I can hardly believe this sad news! Bob was a gentle soul, and as others have stated, one of the most generous, too. IIRC, he donated a pretty nice guitar to another board member that was learning to play.

And he was too young to go! Does anyone know the circumstance of his death?

    RIP, JW7!!!

I didn't know him beyond the board, although did meet at SDS when I first moved out. Was always kind and cordial to me, even if he didn't need to be.

Definitely a sad post to see up top

WTH? 48 and good person to boot. Didn't know Bob personally either but we had conversations via the board. Seemed like a legit good guy. R.I.P jw7 and my condolences go out to him and his family. Unreal, this comes on the heals of an old friend of mine passing away a couple days ago from cancer. He was only 44 and I had known him since Kindergarten.

BIM and I were talking about this about a week ago when I first heard. Bob was a great guy. Here's an oddity though, back in 2003 near the end of Dave McGinnis' time as head coach of the Cardinals, I went to lunch and watched a Cards game with a few friends from ASFN. The guys were Skkorp, Jstadvl, Jw7, and KoC.

All of those guys I went to lunch with are gone now. RIP all of them.

Yes, he is alive and well.

Over the years we have had some pretty nice turnouts at the halftimes. This picture was actually taken by Gee! from ASFN.
