Happening here. In fact, it seems to be getting worse!
Something definitely fishy.
Yea, sorry guys. To fix the Verizon connection issues, I had to do some DNS changes and now it has caused a caching problem. I have been tweaking the settings and still can't get it to work. If you click on a thread, and then come back to the forum section a few seconds later, it won't have change the link to read, but if he hit refresh or give it maybe a minute, it will change the link to read.
I will get this figured out some how.
Why is Verizon throttling the server?
I have a solution, everyone leave verizon.
I'd have to 'Like' then 'Unlike' your post.... I can't just go straight to 'Unlike'
No idea. I'm also hearing its not just my server/sites.
That seems shady after the net neutrality changes, doesn't it? Have you reported it?
there were net neutrality changes? did something slip through without fanfare?
You aren't the first nor will you be the last!
Reclassified under Title II as a utility.
Verizon shouldn't be specifically screwing with this server, but I'm not knowledgeable enough about the details on why Verizon is throttling the forum server.
so it passed in the good way and companies are trying to circumvent it and still do what they want. With that being said, this should not be allowed by law at this time to throttle certain websites.
Can't say if it's right or wrong, but if it shouldn't be happening and it is, then maybe there should be a complaint to the FCC about it. Not sure how that process works, or if it's warranted in this case.
