    Who's in this year?

We signed up! And we signed Chloe up, too. She will be 22 months doing the .42 kid's run. This will be her second Pat's Run as I carried her through the entire 4.2 mile course last year. I expect my time to be better this year with the stroller, lol.

    Awesome! You're never too young.

I'm signed up and looking forward to it. I dropped down to the 43-49 age group this year. Looking forward to doing some damage there.

This will be #8 for me. I started in 2009 and only missed 1 year when my son had a bball tourney in Vegas. Even ran it 4 months after ACL surgery!

    How'd you do, Bada?

This run made me realize how out of shape I am. The good news I'm back on the fitness horse.

That was so strange running the old course backwards!

I got 27:04; 6:27 min/mile avg pace. 12th in my age group and 112th overall.

My avg HR was 172, which at age 43 is about 95% of max! Not sure why it was so high. I've been training pretty hard for a triathlon next weekend, so I probably didn't rest enough to run that hard.

Got first place on my company team though, so bragging rights for another year. I beat 2nd place by 5 seconds!

Grateful to run another Pats Run. Always a special race. Pat would have been 42 this year.

I have a 70.3 triathlon in St George Utah in 2 weeks, so I'm approaching the end of a tough training block.

Having said that, I'm excited to see that I was able to maintain a steady 6:30 pace for the entire race, including those brutal hills!

Anyone else run this year? Other than the delay, I thought they improved the prerace design a bit.

I ran the shadow run. I've been slacking on running. This was literally my first run of any distance in 6 months. I've been working on building strength. I'll take these splits!
