    ugh - not again!

in the other league, i have 103 points with steve smith & ryan longwell still to play.

I only need 7 points to get the second most in that league.

The leader - yep you guessed it - the guy i'm playing 128 points

    :bang:

The Carolina Panthers' road to the defense of the NFC title has taken a major hit.

Panthers head coach John Fox told FOXSports.com that the Panthers Pro Bowl running back Stephen Davis will undergo arthroscopic surgery Friday afternoon on his knee that will keep him out for two to five weeks.

Davis has had some swelling in the knee since the preseason when he was forced to miss the third preseason game.

DeShaun Foster will now get the start for the Panthers.

"He got an MRI yesterday and they've decided to scope it today," said one Panthers official. "We should be all right with DeShaun though." Still, losing Davis for a ground-oriented attack is extremely costly, especially since Carolina's other top offensive option, receiver Steve Smith, is out indefinitely after breaking his leg against the Packers on Monday night.
