Rest well Jim...you've earned it!
Mitch, your tribute to Jim belongs on the front page of ASFN. He made our days better, and while today is a sad day, I'll remember the joy that this site gave me.
this site will be a continuing tribute to Skkorp. It is indeed something special he created. If you would have told me that i would have posted over 7500 times on a website ,i would have told you that you are nuts. I visit other fan sites and i'll bet that i don't have 75 posts combined. Then you throw in all the new people i've met,and consider friends, based solely on this board's existence, it is truly a unique and amazing thing. Skkorp, i want to thank you, without having ever met you, for greatly enhancing ,not only my being a Cardinals fan experience, my life experience by being the conduit to meeting all the special people on this website.
Nobody could have said it better Mitch.
RIP Jim. The world is a poorer place because of your loss. My condolences to Mrs. Skane and the rest of Jim's family.
Jim's passing (and his legacy, this site) has been included in Urban's blog:
RIP Jim. Thank you for creating this wonderful site. The only forum I've cared to follow in the history of the internet.
I finally got to meet Jim at a game last year, thank you Jersey.
Mitch, well said.
Skkorp would have agreed.

Thanks Walter for writing those heart felt words. Although I only had talked to Jim on the phone and had never met him in person. I really liked the man. When I used to send in articles to him he always was very polite and helpful to me. Everytime I ever talked to him online or in an E-mail he was always straight forward and courteous. He will be missed by all on this board. This is truly a sad day for anyone who knew him. I know he will be looking down on every Cardinal game in the future from the best seat there is. He was as true a Cardinal fan as I have ever seen.
Thank you, Gary. Skkorp always regarded you with the highest of praise and esteem. You've always been one of his favorite contributors. I know he was ecstatic when you would take the hours of time you took to break down the offensive line's performance. Skkorp had a way of inspiring us all to do such things, didn't he? But, like Dominos Pizza, Gary, you delivered!
