I liked it better when it was called Tron.

I just watched this without sound at work, I'm glad very quickly into the movie the annoying teenager cliche people are gone.

I was in Hawaii when they were filming this last year. We did an ATV tour of Kualoa Ranch when they were filming. I had to pull over on the side of the trail as they were bringing in that chopper that was shown in the trailer.

Here is the gopro video I put together for it and the chopper is at about the 1 minute mark:

This actually looks pretty funny. I love Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart together. Throw in Jack Black and this should be a fun movie!

interesting observation: I think this movie would(ve) done great just as its own thing. Jungle Quest, or whatever.

But since they billed it as "Jumanji" they are getting the expected purist backlash.

We have a time share in Hawaii and go pretty much every other year. This ATV tour was one of our favorites. They have filmed so many movies at this location and you get to visit a bunch of them.

More than 50 movies and TV shows have been filmed at Kualoa over the years, including Paradise, Hawaiian Style, Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, 50 First Dates, You, Me and Dupree, Hawaii Five-0, Mighty Joe Young, Pearl Harbor, Windtalkers, Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island and Lost.

    The Ranch is on Oahu.

Up towards the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Nice. I have only been to the airport in Oahu. My kids are going there for 2 weeks on the 11th to visit family. Excited for them.

I just looked up the tour, might pay for it and have my mom take the kids

    Yep. That is the one.

We went as a Raptor only group which they said was better since they don't allow the single rider ATVs to do much. I guess they let the Raptors do "a little more off road stuff" if you are in a Raptor only group.
