    Ugh.

The Vikings are signing John DeFilippo as their OC replacement for Pat Shurmer.

Despite Blake Shelton's pleas for Kirk Cousins to sign with the Cardinals, reports are that Cousins wants to play for the Vikings. Wonder if he had a good idea that he'd be working with JDF. man, looks like Philly and Minny will be loaded for years to come.

Good get for the Vikings. Do they have the cap-space for Cousins?

Well the good news is that probably frees up 3 QB's that will help ease the demand for a starting QB for some teams, hopefully not the Cards. I would be interested in Bridgewater.

Cousins to the Vikes would suck. If the Cards don’t get him than I least want a team ahead of them in the draft to get him.

Not all that impressed with JD... He has no history as an OC and he could suck balls... Not real inspired I don't think it took a lot to make Wentz the player that he is. The dude is as smart and talented as they come.

Shurmur made a decent QB out of Case Freakin’ Keenum. Top that dude!

The Jets and Browns have plenty of cap space. The Vikes have enough for Cousins with a little left over for other free agents.

It's an interesting development for sure. Cousins would make that team my hands down favorite to win the SB... were Shurmur there. Are Theilen and Diggs pure talent, or are they beneficial of the last system? Is Dalvin Cook going to return to form? Can JDP utilize them as well as his predecessor, or is he the coach that ran the Browns offense?

Cousins to the Vikings is increasingly making more sense though, which is something that I don't like.

He was an OC for 1 year with Cleveland. He's worked with some avg QB's and has gotten some good results out of them, so he seems to have potential.

I'm kinda hoping Reich gets the Colts gig.

Then we will really see what kind of HC Pederson is.

Name those average QBs he coached up not named Foles? Btw the OC was Frank Reich whom Peterson said is the schematic genius for drawing up plays.

Imo Reich would’ve been a better OC than McCoy or JDF for us but no way he takes a lateral move.

Delifino made a Super Bowl MVP out of Nick Foles!

Reich was long enough with us and couldn't develop a QB. He had success with Rivers and Wentz, two of the most talented QBs in the league. People often tend to forget it's largely about the talent. Sometimes there are Cinderella stories like Foles or Keenum. But to sustain success with below average to average talent is impossible in this league of parity, even for the best schemers.
