The Jazz come to town tonight for a game scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Arizona time. Both teams are coming off wins but the Jazz win over the Golden State by 30 points is the more impressive. The Suns beat Dallas on Wednesday.

Here is more from the Scott Bordow game update.

In a long season I look for the little things to watch. Tonight I hope to get a look at PG Josh Gray who was brought up from the NAZ Suns.

He is on a 10 day contract

With Canaan going down I hope the Suns can pull off another trade similar to the Troy Daniels trade this offseason to bring in another PG for the remainder of the year.

With Monroe gone now they have an empty roster spot in addition to having 4 2nd round picks this draft. I doubt they're able to get anybody that great but maybe they can find another player like Canaan who was a pleasant surprise. They're probably waiting on a few trades to happen so they can swipe someone who falls out of the rotation somewhere or they're able to sign someone that is cut after a trade is made.

This is the bad part about looking ahead to the draft. The Suns are probably not looking to improve now unless they take the leap for a player like Aaron Gordon.

The Suns could probably help themselves a lot with some of the players rumored to be out there in a trade.

I don't think they'll go for anyone that will improve them much, just an end of the bench player to give a shot to. Someone that they can get a look at this year that would help them by being a real PG instead of forcing Booker to play out of position. They only have Ulis through the end of the season and I'd be surprised if they stuck with that. I know they just signed someone from the G-League to a 10 day deal, I think they'll look for someone who is a little better to play with them through the remainder of the year.

    Agree.

Although the Nets pick would not hurt the Suns at all if they could get it for the right trade package.

If McD could get anything out of Len that would be awesome. I'm not holding my breath but it'd be nice to be rid of him for good.

I say bring back Marbury for a nostalgia tour. He can't do that much damage in 30 games, and he'd at least allow the rest of the team to play closer to their proper positions.

I'd would like for the Suns to bring a PG with size like Penny Hardaway

I'm only half joking about Marbury. He's in shape, just wrapped up his China career, would appreciate the opportunity for an NBA send-off, and would have no expectations beyond what's left of this season. And he's probably no worse than whatever third-tier scrub they'd drag out of the G-League instead.

You may have to settle for some "Lil' Penny" candidates. :)

However, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander might be interesting.

Also Ulis may be able to play.
