Literally every corner on the freeway will be littered with panhandlers. Is that like a first come first serve basis for these people? I've heard some of these people make $50 an hour on some of these corners...that's ridiculous.

Damn it. I am a sucker. I keep some singles in the console. Rather take a chance on a panhandler than a stripper.

You would need $100 in singles if you drove 7 miles through phoenix

This is easy. Charge a 50% sales tax on all foods that don't meet a minimum health standard just like we do with tobacco.

Strippers = scam. Snap a garter and sit back down.

Just like South Florida. Many opportunities to make it rain.

They give out to much food when you go out and eat too. My wife and I split a meal and it's plenty.

Not ALL ebt cards are accepted at fast food restaurants. Homeless people have an extra "add-on" in their permissions that allows them to buy fast food. Regular EBT cards cannot.

Odd, many fast food places have a big "WE ACCEPT EBT" in the window.

    I just googled it:

    So homeless, elderly and disabled.

Yes, they accept EBT, but only those that have the extra permission to purchase fast food, etc. Not everyone that has an EBT card can buy fast food with it.

Wonder if those are state by state or federal guidelines.

Ooops. Found this which spells out the restrictions.

Just a thought. Fund these programs with Lotto proceeds.

Some states actually allow recipients to withdraw the benefits in cash with their card.
