Seriously, if you still support the GOP at this point, you are <super cool in my book, because I don't break the rules around here>. The GOP is trying to turn the United States into a dictatorship.

The House Intelligence Committee voted Monday evening to publicly release a Republican memo alleging abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, but voted against releasing a memo written by the committee's top Democrat, Rep. Adam Schiff told reporters.

Schiff says Republicans on the committee voted to release the controversial memo by chairman Devin Nunes.

Dems better be prepared to leak their memo the second the Republicans publish theirs.

Not a good look. My guess is there won’t be a lot of substance but it’s going to be highly partisan to make the FBI look bad, thus further chipping away at our institutions by causing public mistrust.

So was leaking the Pentagon Papers. But when the country’s very existence is threatened, desperate times call for desperate measures.

Can just leave it in the document feeder at a public Fed Ex/Kinkos.

Oops, didn't meant to leave that there.

The motivation for all of this is obvious. The GOP is trying to discredit the FBI so they can do the same to Muehler.

The special council can find anything they want and the Republican senate can just refuse to do anything. They’ll say all the evidence is biased and tainted. These people have no conscience.

I’m believing more an more every day that nothing will come of this no matter what is found.

the only way anything comes out of it, even with iron-clad proof is if the Democrats absolutely TRASH the Republicans in the mid-terms and take back BOTH the House and Senate. At that point, the writing will be on the wall and they'll go Judas on Trump's in no time, knowing that a 2020 destruction is on the way and they need a new candidate to run to have any chance there.

Nunes wrote the memo in an attempt to create a basis for Trump to get rid of Rosenstein.

Once Rosenstein is out, Trump will insert his own henchman who will ultimately fire Mueller.

By that time they hope the public will be on their side in distrusting the FBI and Mueller.

    Will this plan work?

    Yes.

I fully admit, I am completely glass half empty as far as the American people are concerned at this point.

Anyone want to take bets that Trump uses his Distaste For Our Union Speech to trash the FBI and dig into the fake memo?

    Don't forget "as a fundraiser."

Names of campaign donors to be flashed during live stream of Trump’s State of the Union speech

President Trump is seeking to parlay his first State of the Union address on Tuesday into cash for his reelection campaign by offering supporters a chance to see their name flashed on the screen during a broadcast of the speech.

In a fundraising solicitation on Monday, Trump offered those willing to pay at least $35 the opportunity to see their name displayed during a live streaming of the address on his campaign website.
