It is a darn shame that he could not be here enjoying this season.

This happened while I was on vacation and I am so sad :-(

RIP Duckjake. Condolences to his family and friends.

One of my favorite posters. The "Duckjake jinx" and "5-11 with them, 5-11 without them" are classics. He also could (and did) nail me when I pulled something out of my rear end that was totally inaccurate :)

Another ASFN All Star has left us.

I am so sad to hear this....I've been away from the board too long.

Steve was awesome, we talked golf all the time, and split season tickets a couple times cause he couldn't travel for all the games.

Truly amazing guy, I am so sad to hear this...this board is like family to me. Losing O and now Duckjake so close together is rough.

Please pass on my condolences to the family and let me know if there is anything I can do.

Come on BIRDGANG lets get a title for everyone here we have lost....Skkorp, O, Duckjake, and anyone else I'm leaving out. This family deserves it, and they will have the best seats in the house.

    Duckjake Banner Tribute - COMPLETE

    Cards fans,

As promised, here's my pic of the banner with the Duckjake tribute.

I had hoped to meet some of you at halftime near the banner but that is now doubtful, sorry.

At the big Red Rage show this week, Michael Bidwill was heavily promoting a laser show extravaganza at half time and advising fans to stay in their seats and not miss it.

You may just catch me in the north end zone upper concourse (probably near the beer stand) ;) near halftime though. Otherwise, feel free to drop by my tailgate where the banner will be on display from approx. 3PM - 5PM when the Cardinals take it into the stadium.

We hang out near the center of the lawn about 100 yards directly west of the band stage.

    Thanks and GOOO CAAARRRDINALS!!!

    MadJack.

Jack, can't thank you enough. That is absolutely amazing....Steve would be honored beyond any amount he could have even fathomed. Thanks from myself and everyone on this board. You're the man!

Incredible job! That's awesome, I hope we get a shot of this on TV broadcast, that would make their family proud.

I'll pass along the pic to his wife, again great job and very kind of you.

From Card Trader on Nov 18, 2014:

This is Card Trader, re-registered here to express my condolences. Steven and I golfed many times out here, you won't find a better person than him. I remember him giving me this massive Ping bag he got at an event and didn't want to take on the plane, will never stop using this bag. Steve showed me the far corners of the valley playing some great courses and just talking Cardinals. Damn :(

It gets said too often, and not meant, but Steve will TRULY be missed.

He bled Cardinal red, attended the Cards charity golf tourney and spent as much time and money as anyone on this team. I hope he finds his son in the afterlife and they can find peace together.

    So so sad.

I'll miss the man's texts about cutting Housler and our arguments about Leonard Davis
