This brat has the same affliction as Draymond.

The difference in the 2 is Draymonds happen for the most part when he's on offense, has the ball, and makes a move and on the follow through he kicks someone. it's bad, but it's usually connected to an actual basketball play on offense.

Allen has 3 publicized trips now. The first he's laying on the floor on the baseline, the guy with the ball tries to dribble upcourt he steps over Allen and Allen sticks his foot up and trips him. The 2nd one he's standing near his man near halfcourt, the guy starts to run and Allen trips him and then throws his hands up to the ref like the other guy did something. Last night, he's ostensibly on defense and he kicks and trips the guy and then immediately claims the guy grabbed my hand.

They're both wrong but IMO Allen's are significantly worse because he's doing it in both dead ball situations and just in the middle of a play he just loses control of his emotions and trips the guy.

At least Coach K finally suspended him, let's hope indefinitely means until he shows some improvement, and not until we nearly lose a game without him.

The NCAA needs to step in and ban this clown - he is a danger to other players.

And ACC teams should petition the League to not allow him to play in conference games.

I can't find the interview but earlier on the year GameDay did a interview with him and he said he doesn't want to be seen as a villian ala J.J Reddick & Christian Laettner. He also had matured from the tripping incidents.:biglaugh:

He comes off as a petulant brat prone to tantrums. He needs help.

Coach K did an interview this morning where he claimed his reactions to the incidents are correct and implied it is in part connected to his background at West Point and said that played a role in his decision making process. So if you don't agree with Coach K you're against West Point.

he's so sanctimonious, you didn't suspend him last year because he's a good player, you let him back in last night because he's a good player. You suspended him not because you got to review the tape(you could do that last night) but because you realized the public backlash to not suspending him made you look like a complete hypocrite after you lectured Dillon Brooks last year and then lied about it.

Claims he didn't see any of the activity until after the game. R U kidding us. This guy attempts to control every aspect of the game during the game. Never misses a play to scream at the refs. ESPN has made him a candidate for sainthood.

Coach K has a history of this IMO:

"We'll take all responsibility, but if there's any way Gerald Henderson did that intentionally, that's crazy," Krzyzewski said. "That's not the way he plays and not the way we play. ... I feel badly for Tyler and what happened, but there was no intent."

The rationale being bandided about is that Coach Mike will be out 4-6 weeks for back surgery and Jeff Capel will be the interim. K did not want Capel to have to deal with thre issue , so in his last game , last night, he reinstated Ass Clown Allen. I call B S.
