If you didn't you need only listen to the commentating during the Home Run Derby. It got awkward, I thought about turning the channel for a while so the announcers could have some privacy they were getting so turned on. Listen, there's no doubt the kid is impressive, a phenom, whatever superlatives you want to throw out there, but the fact is it's turned up to 1,000,000 because he's a Yankee. Seriously, the comments got embarassing to the point where during the entire semis and finals, even if they weren't batting it was just a good old fashioned 70's love fest with AARON JUDGE. lol the media is in heaven right now. "THE YANKEES HAVE THE GREATEST PHENOM IN THE LAST 500 YEARS ATLEAST!" "Folks, there have been 3 significant events in human history: 1. discovery of fire 2. Invention of the wheel and 3. Aaron Judge!!! I love baseball, but the national media coverage of it which ONLY cares about the Yankees and the Redsox (and the Cubs every 100 years or so) is just eye-rolling stuff. It's just mindless pandering to their fans. A Yankee fan during the 2001 series argued with me that Jorge Posada was "the greatest catcher of all time."
