And if anything it shows that Tom Brady can allow a franchise to get away with moronic moves. You do not trade a top five pass rusher entering his prime except if you are named the Patriots and allotted a free pass on stupidity. Trust me, once Brady retires the whole New England franchise is going to look pretty normal

I said the same thing about Green Bay when Farve would leave. I was wrong.

But Green Bay was smart enough to keep Rodgers while the Pats traded Jimmy G :)

They'll draft another qb in the 2nd round and turn him into a stud... somehow. BB knows what he's doing.

In say we draft LB from Clemson. And go get a QB in free agency. Our defense is legit. I dont think Fitz comes back with a rookie QB. Chandler Jones. Patrick Peterson. And Honey Badge 1 more year healed is a heck of a foundation for a defense.

    GB sucks without Rodgers.

My point was some teams/people fall into a pile of ish and yet come out smelling like a rose.

It was the best thing the cardinals did in 2017.

Bellichick the HC is much better than Bellichick the GM.

People here didn't want to pay him franchise money. Said he wasn't worth it. Where are they now?

Belichick is the key here as he created an entire franchise mantra. They don’t turn the ball over, they don’t take penalties, they’re always in control.

I remember we were complaining about our anemic pass-rush for the longest. Glad it was finally solved and got our sack-man would could command double-coverage.
