So the most conservative option is at the cost of human life.

No thanks Jeff Flake but it's always good to know who you represent.

FWIW, I can't find any confirmation that Flake caved.

Interestingly, last night the local news was saying he was still undecided as to how he will vote. My guess is that he will cave, especially considering that Trump pledged to donate $10 million to unseat Flake if Jeff votes no.

...and Flake believed him? At this point, I'd laugh & call his bluff. Trump donate $10 million...what a joke...

I agree..... and $10 million or not.... he's going to fare a lot better telling his voters why he voted "no" than he would by voting yes. He's already on of the least liked Senators..... hopefully, he's smart enough to know that he will do better personally and professionally by voting no.

    Dear Senator McCain,

I hope you are resting comfortably after your recent surgery. I also hope I do not find myself or any of my loved ones in the same predicament. We cannot afford the care at Mayo Clinic since we would have to be self pay. Our insurance doesn't cover that or is it likely that it will in the near future. My wife's application was rejected there as debilitating migraines dont qualify for treatment in the facility. Be grateful you don't suffer from that!!.. j/k. However, I'll put my bitterness aside and should you need anything at all during your brief stay, please feel free to call. Sorry, I'm not a cat person but there are many here at ASFN to whom it would be a pleasure to assist you in that regard.

Godspeed in your recovery as the Senate anxiously awaits your return for the all important health care vote.

As always, I remain your humble servant,

    MrYB

What if this is more serious than we are being led to believe and McCain doesn't come back. Any chance a Dem could win a special election for that seat?
