It's March, let the Madness begin. Now is the time where some teams play their way into the NCAA tournament, while many more play their way out. For th e PAC-10, the tournament looks to be as competitive as ever, with the conference looking to get as many as 7 teams into the field. Seventy percent of the conference in the dance, percentage wise would be an all-time record. However, that is not the only history the PAC-10 is looking to make. The tournament committee has never selected a 9-9 PAC-10 team to go to the big dance. This year, if certain teams perform well, there could be as many as 3. So without further ado, here is a break down of what could be the most exciting PAC-10 Tournament in recent memory. |

The East Valley Tribune is reporting that Jack Elway, son of NFL great John Elway, has verbally committed to ASU, snatching him away from other schools such as LSU and Oregon. His most recent recruiting trip to ASU was during the ASU-Washington game. According to Scout.com he is currently the #56 prospect at the quarterback position. At the moment he's not a top-tier player in the scouting world but shows a lot of upside. Is pro caliber football in his blood or is being an Elway simply a name? Too early to tell. |

We all need to start out the week balanced, so in the best crass American reinterpretation of ancient Asian philosophy, here's your ying/yang of Arizona sports to start the week. Just don't call me ugly. Things that rule and suck: RULES: ASU beating up Stanford for the first conference win on California soil in 4 years. SUCKS: It was freakin' Stanford, not the '86 Bears. We're supposed to beat Stanford, in Arizona, in California, on Mars -- any place in the known universe -- as long as ASU can recruit people with SAT scores like mine and Stanford can't. |

With the comeback victory against Oregon State last night, the Sun Devils were voted into the twenty-third spot in the AP poll and are tied with Purdue for #25 in the USA Today Coach's Poll. They are also #23 in the Harris Interactive poll. |

Arizona State begins conference play Saturday, when they host the Oregon State Beavers and their new sports bra look. The Devils finally get the chance to test their skills against one of the toughest conferences in the nation. The next few weeks puts them against second tier Pac-10 teams, but it will provide a little more of a challenge than San Diego State and a good start would be huge before they go on that tough four-game stretch from October 27th-November 22nd (California, @Oregon, @UCLA, USC). The team has looked impressive during the first three weeks. Rudy Carpenter looks close to being back to his old self. Besides that first half in the Colorado game, he has had a fantastic start to the season. |

The story of Angelo Richardson is not a pleasant one to remember. Richardson was a lightening quick receiver, but not undersized like Santonio Holmes. With 19 receiving TD's and 1,334 receiving yards, he set the single season records for his junior college. There were great
