The Phoenix Suns start to roll
November 6, 2007 by Mike Olbinski
Whatever happened at halftime of the games in which Phoenix beat the Cleveland Cavaliers is still going strong.
The Suns blew out the Charlotte Bobcats Tuesday night 115-83, giving them their second straight victory and improves their record to 3-1.
I also want to thank the wonderful Suns organization for stepping up to make their entire season available in high-definition. I have to admit I was worried about channel 45 stepping up to make this feed available to us, but they did and it was awesome.
With Amare Stoudemire sitting out another game with a sore knee, Boris Diaw really took charge in this game. He was aggressive and strong. He not only scored 15 points, but also dished out 11 assists, four more than Steve Nash had.
This is what Suns fans deal with though when it comes to Boris. Diaw seems shrinks back to meekness when Stoudemire plays and we miss that. He needs to be this way all the time and the team will be so much better for it.
Let’s hope this continues, no matter if Amare is on the floor or not.
The Suns were just back to their normal selves, which makes you wonder what you were worried about in the first place. Granted, it’s just Charlotte, but the shooting was there, the hustle, the defense and the running. They show 50% from the floor, despite just 37% from long range. Some of the three-point woes though were the fault of Grant Hill, who is still looking for his rhythm from that distance.
Tomorrow night they take on Atlanta, and there is a slight chance Amare could be available for it.

Good to see them playing like they are capable of. The real test on this road trip will be tonight and then Sat. Those are the back to back games. Let’s hope they can dig deep and win at least 3 on this roadtrip.
Yeah..but with Boris playing as aggressive as he is, I think we’ll be fine.
Atlanta is up and coming though, should be a good test.
