The daily duck

The Arizona State Sun Devils and the Oregon Ducks will compete in one of the biggest college football games of the season. The Rose Bowl and possibly the National Championship bowl are at stake between BCS #4 ASU and #5 Oregon… and there’s not one person in this country that would have predicted this in the preseason.
ASU is undefeated and Oregon was very close to being undefeated as well. These two teams have given their fans enough pride and zeal to claim their team’s superiority over the other. I have no problem finding ASU fans predicting dominance through our forum and other AZ sports sites, but I wanted to share what the Duck lovers are expressing:

Addicted to Quack (Best name, btw)
I have no problem with Duck fans thinking they’ll win this one by some ridiculous margin. Sun Devil fans are showing similar devotion that would even make the Chicago Superfans proud…
Bill Swerski: Alright. Ditka vs. God in a golf match. Now, he’s a good golfer.
Superfans: Dit-ka!
But here’s what I want to know. Let’s read why Oregon fan feels that the Ducks are better than the Sun Devils. How are their arguments flawed?
One thing I noticed is that Quackhead (Addicted to Quack) feels that the ASU defensive line is no good. If a team only gives up 29 second half points over the course of 8 games you gotta believe the D-line has something to do with it.
What do you guys think?

This may be the game of the year.. at least so far.
Oregon is tough, esp at home. I think overall they are evenly matched, but being this is at Oregon, I’d give them the slight advantage (altho Cal did go in there and beat them earlier this year).
Here’s hoping the Devils can rise up!
Don’t we lead the PAC 10 in takeaways this year? Usually that means our defense is playing well….
What a quack!
ASU has a narrow lead in turnover margins at +7 (Oregon is +6)
Also, ASU defense is number #7 in the nation with Points allowed per game at 15.6 pts. Oregon is #40 with 21.9 pts allowed.
