Mad Jack keeping the spirit alive

Every since I’ve been an Arizona Cardinals fan, Mad Jack has been hanging his gigantic banner in the end zone of home games. From years at Sun Devil stadium and now to University of Phoenix stadium (or the Coil as Jo Sparkes calls it), Jack has continued displaying the Arizona flag-like banner, normally with a topical-like saying on it.

Against Seattle, it was “The winning streak starts today!” How appropriate.

Another little item was on his banner this week, “RIP KoC”, which was dedicated to King of Cards, a user from our very own forum here who died of cancer earlier this year. Mad Jack also has been a member here for a very long time and the death of KoC was hard on all the Cards fans that knew him. That addition to his sign sure meant a lot to all of us.

Mike Duggan interviewed Mad Jack over at Raising Zona and I wanted to pass on the article to all you Cards fans out there.

Thats cool.. Anyone know of a better pic of the flag is at?

We used to have one, there might be one in the forum archives if you search, but I don’t know how far back it goes. I tried to search for MadJack’s posts, but I didn’t come up with any.
