He may walk again

Date September 11, 2007 by Mike Olbinski

I just wanted to pass on this amazing, simply amazing news…ESPN reports that the doctor who performed the surgery on Buffalo Bill’s player Kevin Everett says that not only did he have voluntary movement in his arms and legs after the operation, but he’s also optimistic that he will indeed walk again.

What a welcome sigh of relief this must be for his family and teammates. To go from fighting for his life, to news such as this is awesome. It was a sad injury to witness and even more to hear of the reality of it afterwards.

Good luck Kevin, we hope to see you up and about soon!

Miracles of modern science.

Everett should thank the men that treated him on the field. I bet that is why he is doing so well in receovery.

Best of luck to the guy, and his family.

One of the fallen gladiators that entertain us every week in the fall. It is part of the game but a part that everyone would like to never see again.
