“False” Injury???

Milton Bradley: Caution, Possible Choking Hazard…

Let’s get this out of the way. Milton Bradley is a big fat idiot. He is a moron, a loser, and all that is wrong with the game of baseball. He is a false leader, a false superstar, and has a false heart. Or at least, that is my impression after his comments about Eric Byrnes in Sports Illustrated:

Milton Bradley says of Eric Byrnes, “He’s an example of what I call false hustle.”

Let’s examine this claim. Eric Byrnes hustles every play. He runs out every ball. He had a streak of 30 stolen bases without getting thrown out. After Chad Tracy and Orlando Hudson went down for the season, he stepped it up and led his team to the brink of the playoffs and an NL West Championship.

Milton Bradley has led his team into the toilet. Trailing 6-1 late in the game, Bradley came to the plate already jawing at home plate umpire Brian Runge. Even after a base hit, Bradley continued to verbally abuse the first base umpire. Eventually Bradley’s mouth got him into trouble and he was tossed from the game. The video clearly shows Bradley mouthing off but does not capture what may have set him off.

Rather than leave the game with class, Bradley went after the umpire, having to be restrained by his coaching staff. In an almost-laughable sequence, Padres manager Bud Black tugged on Bradley’s jersey and the slugger went down in a heap, clutching at his knee. Now I am never one to laugh at an injury, but to me, Bradley had it coming.

Every team that Bradley has been on during a pennant race has been let down by this fool. Seemingly minor injuries have sidelined him when greater men, such as Eric Byrnes, would have probably gutted it out and played through the pain.

Not Bradley.

Somehow, this idiot thinks the umpires should be reprimanded for the injury to his knee. Hey Milton, you were the idiot who kept going after the umpire. If anything, Milton should be suspended for a long time. Without that knee injury, we might be talking about a battery charge against the unstable Padres slugger.

Keep whining Milton, and take your team into the tank with you. The Diamondbacks thank you for your efforts.

Good write-up. I couldn’t believe what I saw when they showed this during the Diamondbacks game. Definition of loose cannon

Awesome…Milton can let his knee heal when he’s watching us in the postseason.

are you kidding me… winters needs to be reprimanded for instigating the situation. An umpire has a job to do and should display that job with the utmost professionalism. And I would not get too cocky diamondback fans; you are sitting pretty yet.
