Diamondbacks blank Pirates

Micah Owings continues to the pound the ball as he went 4-4 with three doubles against Pittsburgh today as Arizona routed the Pirates 8-0 in a huge win. Almost a must-win game.

The edge against the Padres was only a game before Arizona won today and another loss would have been their fourth in a row. With a huge final series against a hot Colorado team looming, this victory was vital.
