Edge is also the leading rusher in the NFC.

Some other notes, for those that said the ending was crazy:

We beat the Seahawks in rushing yards, passing yards and 3rd down conversion %. You do that game in and game out, and you will win more than you lose.

It's a good start. Baltimore will be tough, no doubt...but I just want to see intensity.

I feel we are poised to beat Pittsburgh at home (Whis knows this team inside and out) and we have a good shot at Baltimore (Whis has faced them 12 times).

We may lose this weekend. And even the next...but the the first four were our toughest, IMO. If we come out of this 2-2 it will be fantastic. 1-3 isn't even terrible as we should make that up and get back to .500 in a hurry.

At any rate, it is CLEAR that the mindset has changed in Arizona. Whisenhunt has brought Whinning Time to the Valley.

It was great to see how well the team ran on Sunday, but next week's game against Baltimore will be a HUGE test. As the song says, "If you can do/make it here, you can do/make it anywhere".

1. establish the run
2. stop the run
3. get to the qb

as i have stated many times, if this can be accomplished the rest of the pieces fall into place. and guess what...suddenly you (we) start to get lucky.

Solid, physical line play on both sides of the ball - who woulda thunk it.

What I think (and definitely hope) is that this team won't regress, but instead, under Coach Whisenhunt's watchful eye, will consolidate its gains and continue to improve from here.

That's one way championship teams are built.

Pass the pitcher of Kool-Aid please.

<blockquote cite="That if some inexplicable, totally outrageous and hardly fathomable event hadn’t taken place, we’d never have won that game. That is the only possible explanation for what happened.">

More like if the Seattle D wouldn't have let the Cardinals ram it down their throats following the fumble. Four straight times the same play for 22 yards!!!

Seattle is a good team. We beat them at their own game. Power running and timely passing, solid play calling, and swarming defence with contributions all around. No this is no surprise. The hags had big Mo on their side for awhile as happens in this league, but if you want to call it luck, go ahead. We played our butts off and put ourselves in that position and it swung our way.
Yes Seattle is a good team, but we played them evenly as we have done many times over the past few years as they have been winning division titles. But be careful hags, you just might have real competion now, really.

This squad has without a doubt come a long way since teams were surprised that Coach McGinnis hadn't changed their audible signals since the last time they played!

The Arizona Cardinals team that we saw Sunday was dramatically different from any squad this city had seen in a long time. The good news is that this team is 1-1 and hasn't begun hitting on all cylinders yet. When Branch comes back to spell Watson on defense and Leinart gets his feet under him (literally and figuratively), the sky could be the limit for this team.

2nd in the NFC West... with a bullet!
