I have seen him make catches that many pros would have trouble doing. No doubt whatsoever that he would have helped ASU tremendously... There were others, but I just believe that having a receiver like him would have helped. Oh I'm very glad we got him. That's why I said it may not be a good thing if it helped Koetter last longer. A couple of observations: 1. If losing any one player hurts a program badly, that program is in bad shape anyway. 2. In my opinion, Koetter wouldn't have lasted much longer as ASU's coach anyway. Lisa Love would have axed him soon. 3. Getting Erickson was a stroke of luck. A year later, he might not have been available. Nice to read an article about ASU.
