Suns in high-definition all season
July 20, 2007 by Mike Olbinski
Music to my ears. You can ask anyone who knows me. If it’s not in HD, I rarely watch it.
Unless it’s Friends repeats. Or Rescue Me. Or Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Or Phoenix Suns games.
Thankfully, I can cross off the Suns from the regular, crappy, low-def broadcasts and welcome them, into the wonderful, amazing wold of suped-up pixel resolution. The Suns organization announced today that all their games next season will be broadcast by them in high definition. Even on the road!
Unbelievable. This makes me so happy.
“The Phoenix Suns will be the first NBA team and first sports team in Arizona to broadcast an entire season in HD. We want to take a leadership position in providing the highest quality television broadcasts possible for our viewers,” said Suns president and CEO Rick Welts.
The first team in the league to do it. We should be so grateful for this, fellow HD-ers.
