I am pretty confident that Amare will be a better overall player, and that means defensively, next season. I still think the addition of Grant Hill makes us a better team, even with losing Kurt. I am not sure how will fare against the mighty Spurs...but I think our lack of another scoring options besides Nash and Amare hurt us against them...and Hill will be a huge help there. We still have no defensive answer to Tim Duncan and no one can really argue that they've improved at all. They added Grant Hill and lost Thomas (one of our better interior defenders). Not sure what this means, but at this point I'm predicting another 60 win great regular season and then a conf finals exit. :-( I agree with Adrian, the Suns effort thus far is disappointing at best. Although there are some positives to freeing up cash and getting a veteran like Grant Hill, nothing has helped us to undeniably reach the championship level. Specifically, nothing done that will help us beat the Spurs in a best of 7 series.
