Bitterness only lasts so long. Sometimes, it almost takes energy to stay upset at something. Or someone.

Yet when the Suns lost to the Spurs, I was planning on being bitter for a long time. I was going to ignore the rest of the playoffs, because none of it mattered anymore. It was tainted and wrong.

But something happened. I was watching something on Tivo and when it was over, my TV was on ESPN and the Cavaliers were in overtime against the Pistons. LeBron James had scored something sick like the last 20 points for Cleveland.

The Cardinals right now have several players who are not playing positions they are ideally suited for. In the past, because the Cardinals did not have a deep roster, the coaches were sometimes forced to play certain players out of position because their options were so limited. This is no longer the case in Arizona. The Cardinals’ roster is the deepest and most talented it has been in decades.
