Grant us Hill

There is a favorite saying on the messageboards.
“Bring ‘em in, can’t hurt!”
It’s usually followed up by an image:

Grant Hill is interested in the Suns (He told Dan Patrick). He even said he’d rather play for us than the Spurs. Well Hallelujah, what are we waiting for?
The guy played in 68 games last year, shot 50% from the floor and averaged 15.5 ppg. He’s also likely willing to take the minimum to play here.
And let’s not forget the kind of guy Grant Hill is. One of the best in the league in terms of sportsmanship and commitment. With all the injuries to his ankles and feet and whatever, he never gave up, desiring to play as much as he could to fulfill the contract he signed.
Definitely Phoenix Suns material.
Against the Spurs, a healthy Hill would have been huge at the end of games. He can shoot, pass, rebound and get his own shot. Without Joe Johnson, we’re missing that type of player.
The major question is if he can stay healthy and be there when we need him? Well, he’s signing for the minimum, so may as well take a chance!
Keep him rested and ready to go come playoff time.
On a side note, the Spurs won the championship in the most boring NBA Finals maybe of all-time. Did anyone notice? My wife had it on with 2 minutes to go then turned it off so she didn’t have to watch them celebrate.
I love her.
Anyways, bring on the draft and the offseason trades and signings. It’s a new day.

I have no problem with it and would love to see him in a Suns uniform. However, not as a replacement for Marion as some on the boards have suggested. That would be a disaster waiting to happen.
